Do something GREAT: The new tourism campaign of the Region of Central Macedonia with the signature of Next Com
On 27 September 2021, Next Com, organised and presented with special honor and a sense of pride the new tourism campaign and the new brand “Do Something GREAT” for the Region of Central Macedonia, which will accompany the promotion of tourism in the Region for the next few years.
The tourist campaign that we created aims to bring out the landmarks of Central Macedonia, without showing just the famous tourist attraction. It attempts to penetrate to a more experiential tourism experience, with a focus on natural beauty, tradition, food and of course the sea & sun.
The event took place in the hall of cinema “Olympion” in the center of Thessaloniki, in compliance with all of the measures imposed by the health protocols for the Covid-19 pandemic, while the following honored us with their presence:
- the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia Apostolos Tzitzikostas who stated that: “These elements, of the great and unique experience for each visitor, but also of the real greatness of this place, from antiquity until today, we transform into the new tourist brand and the new tourist campaign of the Region of Central Macedonia: Do Something GREAT”.
- the Head Chief of Tourism in the Region, Alexander Thanos, who stressed that: “Our new campaign was created from raw material that was collected last year under very harsh conditions due to the limitations of the coronavirus pandemic. It was built in such a way as to highlight the authenticity of the destination, Central Macedonia, and to create a complex experience, as required by modern marketing”.
- The Deputy Minister of Macedonia – Thrace Stavros Kalafatis, the Director of the Office of Macedonia Prime Minister Maria Antoniou, the Deputy Governor of Thessaloniki Voula Patoulidou, the Deputy Governor of Serres Panagiotis Spyropoulos, the Deputy Governor of Pella Iordanis Tzamtzis, the Deputy Governor of Halkidiki John George, the President of the Panhellenic Association of Hoteliers Gregory Tasios and representatives of tourism agencies, businesses and infrastructure in the area.
